My Top 5 Gay Romance Movies

My top 5 gay movies of the month!

5) Adam & Steve (2005):

Plot : Follows two New York city couples – one heterosexual and one gay who explore the peaks and the valleys of their respective relationships.”

Why: I love the comedy in this movie! its refreshing, not overly sexual. It hits the right notes from romance to comedy and makes you laugh all the way through

4) Breakfast With Scot (2007) :

Plot: Eric and Sam have been in a committed relationship for four years. Eric’s a former hockey player turned sportscaster and Sam’s a sport’s lawyer. But when Sam’s adventure seeking brother Billy, takes a job in South America, his ex-girlfriend, Julie, is discovered dead from a drug overdose leaving her son Scot (not Billy’s son) to Billy. But Billy is missing in action so Sam is left to pick up the pieces. But the problem is Eric never wanted kids. When 11-year-old Scot arrives and they open his duffel bag, inside they find… one pink musical hairbrush, two plastic containers of beads and faux-gold chains, a pink poodle belt, and four pairs of white sock-ettes with lacy fringe at the top… they realize Scot is more out of the closet then they are even though he does not know it yet.”

Why: This is a wonderful movie for the family! it has a light touch of drama, some romance, and a hint of comedy. The plot its self  is wonderful and well supported by the actors! Its a beautiful story.

3) Get real (1998) :

Plot: “A tenderly romantic coming-of-age story as two boys in a British school fall in love.”

Why: I really loved this movie, since the ages of the characters are closer to mine, I could identify with them. Very well written, witty, and a very great coming-of-age sort of movie dealing with numerous problems teens have regarding being gay.

2) Latter Days (2003) :

Plot: “A promiscuous gay party animal falls for a young Mormon missionary, leading to crisis, cliché, and catastrophe.”

Why: It is so rare that I find a movie that can make me tear up. This is a beautiful movie, very sentimental. this is a movie you really need to watch if you like a romance movie about Religion and Love. Its a ery inspirational movie at that.

1) Just une question d’amour ( Just a question of love, 2000) :

Plot:“After his gay cousin dies from hepatitis, young Laurent, who lives with his best friend Carole, falls in love with Cedric, a plant scientist. He’s afraid to inform his conservative parents that he is gay.”

Why: I loved this movie, its by far one of the most romantic movie that ive watched! its originally in french and has been subtitled. This is a MUST see! Ive watched it about five times now.

Juste une question d’Amour (just a question of Love) is one of my favourite gay movies ever, and i’m quite stunned a French movie is quoted out of France (as i’m french, i don’t often see something about french movies outside France).
Maybe one movie i love and that’s not quoted in this list is Beautiful Thing
